My desire to visually connect with my daughter, Luna, has compelled me to unravel the details of pregnancy that still remain an enigma. This series is about making ample wallspace for our children’s memorabilia to keep us going.

As I became aware of the odd fate among sonograms and ultrasounds, I knew a change was needed. To my surprise, about 75 percent of the families tucked away their pictures and about 1/4th of this demographic misplaced their copies. Now driven by Nostalgic Matrescence, my resolve is to share this gift with all parents and frame the fundamental moments from procreation in an everlasting aura.

The illustrations I’ve made have been tailored to each client's personal experience with pregnancy and preference in design. I begin by layering a variety of linear mathematical imagery over the infant through geometric lines and organic shapes. In illustrating sounds' rhythmic pattern, I give mass to it thus reinforcing the composition's focal point unique to each child. My assembled collection of woven soundwaves in utero are Echoes In Bloom.
